These beds are just perfect. Easy to put together fun and bright and our twin boys loved their new beds. Highly recommend them. My only wish is that the sideboards were a bit closer to the head of the bed but that is really not a big deal.

We have owned this bed for 18 months. On the one hand, we love how sturdy the bed is and how it looks. I also am a huge Pkolino fan in general, so I hate to write a negative review about their products. The problem we have encountered with this bed is that the headboard and siderails are too sharp and hard. I have never seen such sharp edges on these parts of a toddler's bed and it seems it would be easy to round them off. It seems some people think other reviewers were being too nitpicky with this critique, but maybe their kids were older when they switched to a toddler bed. Mine was too tall for a crib by 20 months and had to make the switch early. He banged and cut his head a couple of times, and not just at the beginning. Also, when my kids are playing near his bed, I get nervous because they sometimes get dangerously close to hurting themselves on the rails. I hope Pkolino will round off the sides to address this.

I was sort of unsure about spending so much on a toddler bed, specially in light of the mix of reviews, but decided to trust the majority. I love the bed, but most importantly my daughter loves the bed. It is solid, well crafted (although there was a little bit of a struggle with some of the pre-drilled holes) and it looks great. It took us a while to put it together but it was mostly because we had continuous interruptions from the kids. My daughter has jumped all over the bed, its very solid, and she hasn't hit any of the edges at any point whatsoever. Overall, I'm very happy with it.
